North Carleton, PEI - Potato Field Reds

Gentle curves of freshly turned earth lead the eye across a quiet North Carleton field.

Here in North Carleton, the land settles into its familiar Prince Edward Island rhythm—red soil shaped into soft rows, young growth emerging with patience and care. Lupins bloom freely in the foreground, their purples and pinks easing into the scene, while a weathered shed stands watch nearby, grounded and unassuming. It’s a view that speaks to Island farming at its most honest, where seasons pass steadily, and the landscape tells its own story.
